Learning In Finances and Everday Skills

A weekly program that provides support to families and individuals while working through financial and other personal goals. Participants can earn vouchers for regular access to Love INC network pantries and other resources.
L.I.F.E. skills runs year-round and people can begin anytime during the year. There is no financial cost, but requires a commitment of regular attendance. Each week involves an hour of class time and an hour of mentoring. The program is run by volunteers, organized and supported by Love INC staff and caseworkers.

Hamilton Thursdays: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Allegan Tuesdays: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
1 hour Group Class and 1 hour Personal or Group Mentoring

How You Can Help Right Now

Do you have a heart for helping adults learning to read and write? Allegan Life Skills has a need for a Reading and Writing Tutor willing to teach an adult that wishes to learn how to read and write.

Is your passion finances? Would you be willing to share your knowledge with people in need? Life Skills is in need of Leaders for Budget Classes. This class meets on Thursday evenings and the time period would be approximately 10 weeks. Material and willing participants are provided.
